Tomorrow I’ll be hard at it, unpacking stacks of boxes, helping my elderly gent back into his home after months of sleeping on a sofa at his friends flat. The poor chap really has gone through it after having his house gutted early 2009.
The help and support WRVS (and all other Charities) is offering to people like this is fantastic. I mustn’t neglect to mention the fact that I am also very lucky to work with some great people. I must say thanks to Bernadette and Jane (WRVS) and Louise (Thanet good neighbours scheme) who has been very happy to advertise my services. There are many others that are responsible for great work going on around Thanet and they deserve a big ‘HEADS UP’
